Description
San-Mai construction—a hard core of special Tokushugō steel (特殊鋼) embedded between two outer layers, clearly visible on the cutting edge and heel. This steel offers increased rust resistance and excellent sharpness retention—without the cumbersome maintenance required by traditional carbon steels. Traditional oval Wa handle made of natural wood with a black ferrule.
Due to long-term storage, minor streaks and discoloration may appear on the blade surface - please take this into account before purchasing.

If you would like us to sharpen your knife on stones before shipping, please let us know in the order comments section - we will do it free of charge.
Please note, however, that the first sharpening will invalidate the knife's New Old Stock status. If you return it within 14 days, we may refuse or reduce the refund amount for knives that have been sharpened at the customer's request. By requesting sharpening, you agree to these terms.
